If we intend to create households of faith we must place emphasis on faith formation for adults. You might think that you already attended faith formation as a child, but in the same way that the clothes you wore for your First Communion or Confirmation do not fit you anymore, the understanding of faith you gained when you were a child no longer fits the complex realities and demands of your adult life.
We will offer adults the opportunity to attend the 4 in person gatherings (these will be divided into small groups of families, or small groups of adults without children, these groupings will remain the same throughout the year to allow for safety, social distance and hopefully the building of closer ties and support). Each session will begin with Mass, and then be followed by some adult catechesis. We will have offer morning sessions and evening sessions - select your option here.
We will also provide adults with the at home ritual for each theme and with online resources (three seven minutes videos for each theme: two teaching videos, and one prayer experience video) as well as online adoration every Thursday with teaching on the given theme.
Registering for G.I.F.T. does not mean that you must do everything, it means that you will have the opportunities and receive all the resources. We do ask you to let us know if you intend to be part of the in person gatherings so we can plan for space and arrange for the small groupings.
